One of these things is not like the other!

Because I find flaws in both Trump and Hillary, some of my friends fear that I am promoting a moral equivalence, ignoring that one of these candidates is worse than the other. Let me put paid to that fear. This is a post to clarify my position. As the Sesame Street jingle says: "One of these things is not like the other . . ."

Remember: "One of these things is not like the other"! That one is the one! I trust I have made my position perfectly clear. There should be no more fears of a moral equivalence! Everyone can now rest easy . . .

STATEMENT IN RESPONSE TO PRESIDENT OBAMA'S FAILED LEADERSHIP

"Obama-Clinton have single-handedly destabilized the Middle East, handed Iraq, Libya and Syria to ISIS, and allowed our personnel to be slaughtered at Benghazi. Then they put Iran on the path to nuclear weapons. Then they allowed dozens of veterans to die waiting for medical care that never came.

"Hillary Clinton put the whole country at risk with her illegal email server, deleted evidence of her crime, and lied repeatedly about her conduct which endangered us all. They released criminal aliens into our country who killed one innocent American after another -- like Sarah Root and Kate Steinle -- and have repeatedly admitted migrants later implicated in terrorism. They have produced the worst recovery since the Great Depression. They have shipped millions of our best jobs overseas to appease their global special interests. They have betrayed our security and our workers, and Hillary Clinton has proven herself unfit to serve in any government office.

"She is reckless with her emails, reckless with regime change, and reckless with American lives. Our nation has been humiliated abroad and compromised by radical Islam brought onto our shores. We need change now."

-Donald J. Trump

Thanks for the comment . . . though I'm likely way wrong to think Trump himself might have posted this, even if it is signed "Donald J. Trump."

I saw that 0bama was quoted as saying Trump is "unfit to serve as president", which gave me pause (for about a nano-second). Because, you know, who in the world is more qualified than 0bama to judge unfitness for the Presidency?

That one got a chuckle out of me, TBH. Thanks!

Technically, it's: "The Wicked Witch of Wall $treet." I also think "Hellary Clingon" is pretty good!

Technically, you're correct. But Hillary's antics over her email 'slip-up' elevate her to Wicked Witch status for the WWW.

Wait until Assange releases more $hillary emails that he promises are damning enough to send her to the slammer. Then she will be the Wicked Witch of the Whole Damn Solar System, if not the Milky Way.

I await that with interest.

I think Anderson Copper's butt plug popped out when Assange told him that he would be releasing more emails from the campaign of the Wicked Witch herself.

Is Cooper also a Copper? (Incidentally, my extensive family includes young'uns too young for salty language, and I know they sometimes read this blog, so I usually stick to euphemisms.)

Please get your mind out of the gutter, sir. That is a euphemism for a lawyer (or lawyer's fee). Learn something new every day, don't you?

As for my typo, Blogger does not seem to allow for edits, which I suppose is why only older farts such as ourselves still use it.

Oops, there I go again!

Gentlem*n,

I usually B*wdlerize with aster*sks, too. But I think it is worth noting that, stylistically, it works best to use the asterisk for a vowel (there are only a few to choose from and makes it easier to guess the word) in the interior of the word (never replace the first or last letter!).

So I might say, "What the f*ck is going on here; and why the f*ck is it going on here?" No one can possibly confuse my meaning.
