Poetry Break: Some More One-Line Poems

"Grime and Punishment"

Here are three new one-liners:

Laozi

Sage born, he could recall no flair of youth.

Galactic Hitchhiker's Guide

A well-thumbed guide leading nowhere at all.

GPS

The GPS knows badder than you do!

Perhaps I've engendered a new genre of poetry . . .

These are excellent. Don Tinsley, who we know from Emanations, has also been writing one line poems.

Does he have them posted anywhere?

Does he call them one-line poems?

Anyway, I try for a single iambic pentameter line with self-referential properties that effectively double the line and a title that interacts with the line, all of these working together to produce a brief, but interesting reading.

But you probably knew that already.
